As many of my clients know, I lost my mother to cancer in 2009. It was and continues to be a tremendous loss to me and my family. Since then, my family and I have been very involved with the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life. It is the American Cancer Society's largest fundraiser and virtually all of the money goes to cancer research, cancer education and assistance to cancer patients.
